Just when you think you've seen it all from KISS: coffins, condoms, credit cards - now here's the latest innovation from the band whose marketing ambition knows no bounds: this summer the New Mexico Lottery has signed a deal with Gene and Paul for a KISS lottery with its own scratch-off ticket. This follows the already successful trial run of a KISS Lottery in Sweden.
“KISS learned a long time ago that you can’t win unless you’re in the game,” said the band's press release. “The New Mexico Lottery wants to rock its players’ world and KISS is just the band to make that happen.” Revenue from the game is expected to generate close to a million dollars for New Mexico college scholarships.
According to Gene Simmons on his Twitter feed, more states are on the way! Come on Kentucky, get on the KISS bus.
